GREENWICH, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eagle Point Credit Management LLC (“Eagle Point”), a private credit investment manager, announced today that Ken Yamashita has joined the firm as Managing Director, Head of Client and Partner Solutions for Japan. Mr. Yamashita will report to Kyle McGrady, Senior Principal and Head of Client and Partner Solutions.
In this role, Mr. Yamashita will be responsible for maintaining all existing investor relationships and overseeing all institutional business development in the country.

Prior to joining Eagle Point, Mr. Yamashita served as an Executive Director in the Financial Institutional Sales group at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where he covered major Japanese financial institutions, including insurance companies, banks, trust banks and asset management companies with a particular focus on providing solutions in alternative investments. Prior to that, Ken served as Head of Alternatives Sales at BlackRock Japan, where he was Head of the Alternative Sales Team for Japan and worked with relationship managers and product specialists. Previously, Ken held positions as Director of Investor Relations at SVP Global and Managing Director at Tanaka Value Investments KK. Mr. Yamashita earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Kyoto University.
