MIAMI, July 28, 2025— eCapital Corp. (“eCapital”), a leading technology-enabled provider of financing for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across North America and the U.K., today announced the appointment of Melissa Forman-Barenblit as President, Head of Transportation Group. A highly respected leader in transportation finance and freight technology, Forman-Barenblit steps into the role at a pivotal time for the organization and the industry at large.
With more than 25 years of experience spanning logistics, finance, and SaaS-based innovation, Forman-Barenblit is known for turning operational obstacles into tangible results. She brings a unique blend of industry knowledge, technical insight, and a leadership style grounded in team development and execution. Most recently, she served as President of TriumphPay, where she played a central role in modernizing freight payments and expanding adoption across the logistics ecosystem.
At eCapital, Forman-Barenblit will oversee the continued growth, modernization, and performance of the Transportation Group, with a focus on advancing platform integration, expanding market reach, and deepening service excellence for carriers, brokers, shippers, and strategic partners.
“Throughout my career, I’ve focused on solving complex challenges with practical solutions that make life easier for clients,” said Forman-Barenblit. “The most effective way to do that is by building strong teams with a clear sense of purpose. That’s exactly what eCapital does by delivering capital in ways that support real outcomes. I’m excited to help lead this next phase of innovation and growth, with a continued commitment to service, efficiency, and the evolving needs of our industry, while fostering a culture that values development and impact.”
Prior to her time at TriumphPay, Forman-Barenblit spent nearly eight years at eCapital, where she built industry partnerships, advanced technology initiatives, and drove commercial expansion. Her earlier roles span SaaS product development, operations, and data infrastructure, giving her a rare combination of industry acumen and technical fluency that shapes her leadership approach.
"In a market where agility and industry knowledge are critical, Melissa brings the right combination of experience, execution, and leadership," said Marius Silvasan, CEO of eCapital. “Her track record in optimizing performance and leading through complexity makes her a strong fit to advance our priorities and support the companies that keep the freight economy moving. Under her leadership, accelerating the performance and scalability of our Transportation Group will remain a top priority."
With this key appointment, eCapital strengthens the leadership of its Transportation Group, reinforcing its commitment to delivering tech-enabled, client-focused solutions that meet the evolving needs of carriers, brokers, and freight partners across North America.
