Latham & Watkins LLP has advised the financial institutions involved in the refinancing of Cellnex's €2.8 billion syndicated credit facility. This refinancing not only extends the maturity by an additional year but also includes two one-year extension options, which could push the final maturity to July 2032.
The transaction received unanimous support from all 26 participating financial institutions.
The Latham team was led by Madrid finance counsel Luis Sánchez and finance partner Fernando Colomina, with associate Jaime Grau. Additional advice on Spanish tax matters was provided by partner Iván Rabanillo and associate Juan Rodríguez.
