Lawrence Jasper has joined GA Group as a Managing Director, bringing his deep expertise to help lead and expand our growing Field Exam practice.
Lawrence has over 27 years of expertise in Asset-Based Lending (ABL) diligence, with an impressive 19 years as Executive Director for JPMorgan Chase's Field Examination Group. In that capacity, he oversaw all aspects of collateral diligence for ABL borrowers across both Investment and Commercial Bank sectors. His leadership and understanding of the various credit and collateral risks extended to transactions ranging from $5 million to $6 billion, including direct lending and private equity deals.
As a recognized Subject Matter Expert, Lawrence provided authoritative guidance on cross-border ABL collateral, managing diligence efforts for diverse asset classes across North America, Western and Central Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand. He has also shared his knowledge as a speaker on ABL diligence and cross-border collateral issues for SFNet and other prominent industry organizations.
"Larry will play a key role in advancing our capabilities in conducting larger and more complex field examinations, with a particular focus on syndicated, cross-border, and private equity-backed engagements.
