These individuals will be key contributors to the organization allowing our business to deliver innovative secured debt financings across a wide range of industries including consumer/retail, business services, specialty finance, and industrials.
David Storer – Chief Operating Officer
David recently joined SLR CS as COO. In his role David’s responsibilities include go-to-market strategy, investment committee, business development and general operations. David has over 22 years of experience in the ABL industry. Prior to joining SLR CS, he founded and led the ABL strategy for The Carlyle Group, and before that, David originated, structured, and managed asset-based credit facilities at Pathlight Capital.
Tanner Phifer – Senior Managing Director, Head of Origination
Tanner joined SLR CS in 2023 and has been promoted to Head of Origination. Tanner has over 17 years of experience in asset-based and cash flow lending from his long tenured career at Wells Fargo, holding positions as Head of Origination for the Western U.S. in Capital Finance (ABL and specialty finance), and underwriting and managing investments in Sponsor Finance.
Cory Moore – Director, Origination
Cory will be joining SLR CS in May as Director in our Originations Group focusing on the Mid-West region. With over 14 years of industry experience, Cory brings deep expertise in originating, structuring, and underwriting asset-based credit facilities for middle market companies. Cory is joining SLR CS from Wells Fargo, where he held various roles in Relationship Management, Underwriting, and most recently, Originations of asset-based credit facilities for middle-market businesses.
