ROSEMONT, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. (“Wynnchurch”), a leading middle-market private equity firm, announced today two promotions:
- Carl Howe: Promoted to Managing Director, Investment Team
- Brian Riordan: Promoted to Managing Director, Investment Team
Chris O’Brien, Managing Partner at Wynnchurch, said, “We are thrilled to announce the well-earned promotions of Carl and Brian. They have been key contributors to the firm’s success, and we look forward to their expanding leadership roles.”
Additionally, Wynnchurch has strengthened its operations and investment teams by adding Steve Yan as Head of Debt Capital Markets; and Alex DeAraujo, Adam Rimmer, Chris Wilson, and Bob Zeeb, as Managing Directors to its operations team, focusing on driving operational change and improvements at our portfolio companies.
Steve Yan brings over 15 years of experience in debt and equity capital raising focused on middle-market companies. He earned his M.B.A. with concentrations in Finance and Management & Strategy from Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University; M.A.S. in Accounting, and B.S in Finance and Accounting from the University of Illinois.
Alex DeAraujo brings over 14 years of experience in PE portfolio operations with three different PE firms. In addition, he brings foundational experience in the Operations Management Leadership Program and Corporate Audit Staff at General Electric, along with seven years of management consulting experience with Bain & Company, with a focus on private equity. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Adam Rimmer brings over 20 years of experience in sales and operations and has managed portfolio company transformations, carveouts, M&A and developed talent plans including recruitment, retention and compensation strategies. He earned his B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University; M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Hartford; and M.B.A. from Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University.
Chris Wilson brings over 25 years of experience in operations, supply chain, and operational excellence focusing on leading transformational change to accelerate profitable growth, improve cost structures, and building leadership teams. He earned his B.S.M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
Bob Zeeb brings more than 35 years of experience in turnaround operations while advocating and implementing industry best practices in highly regulated environments. He earned his B.A. in Finance and M.B.A. from St. Xavier University.
