Cambridge Savings Bank continues to provide support for important local organizations, and is pleased to announce a $25,000 donation to local Waltham, MA based Chesterbrook Community Foundation. Chesterbrook’s Community Center is a vibrant, nurturing place where the children not only benefit from academic tutoring, but also engage in mentoring relationships with college students. This donation will support the renovation of the Community Center, assisting over 300 families via mentoring, academic support, and enrichment in structured after-school and evening programs.
With a committed focus on non-profits, CSB is proud to support organizations like Chesterbrook, providing help for those in need. The newly upgraded community center will feature an outdoor space, designed to improve student safety, the program's functionality, and the long-term sustainability of the Community Center’s mission. This is not the first interaction between CSB and Chesterbrook, as CSB has been providing grants for several years to help with other improvements to the organization.
