SSG Capital Advisors, LLC (“SSG”) served as the investment banker to a commercial bakery (the “Company”) in the Company’s recapitalization. The transaction provided additional liquidity to support growth and strategic initiatives and closed in November 2023.
The Company is a fully-integrated manufacturer and distributor of private label and branded multi-grain, sourdough, organic and specialty breads, buns and rolls. For over 30 years, the Company’s dedicated team of experienced bakers and sales professionals have worked closely with its customers to understand their bread-related needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements. Today, the Company offers a diverse line of bread products to a wide array of top retailers and foodservice chains and is recognized as a manufacturing partner of choice for authentic, high-quality specialty and organic baked goods.
SSG was retained in March 2023 to assist with the exploration of available financing alternatives to strengthen the Company’s capital structure and support future growth. After receiving and evaluating numerous competitive term sheets, SSG’s experience in facilitating flexible financing solutions resulted in a transaction that maximized availability under the Company’s existing asset base and provided flexibility and incremental liquidity to support its go-forward plan.
