New roles will position the firm well to capture growing opportunities in private wealth and structured products channels
TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Whitehorse Liquidity Partners (together with its advisory affiliates, “Whitehorse”), a specialized investment manager focused on providing customized portfolio financing through structured liquidity solutions for private equity portfolios, today announced it is expanding its distribution capabilities with two new hires in its Capital Management team.
Joe Gallitano joins the firm as Senior Principal, Head of Private Wealth, and Pramit Sheth joins as Senior Principal, Head of Structured Products.
“As we always say, without investors there would be no Whitehorse. Our objective with these new hires is simple, to enable us to provide our innovative product suite to a broader cohort of investors,” said Yann Robard, Managing Partner at Whitehorse. “As our solutions have been well-received by the market, we find ourselves long opportunity and short capital. Our investment into new areas of focus in our Capital Management team are designed to enable us to stay well capitalized ahead of the vast market opportunity we see ahead of us.”
“We are excited to welcome Joe and Pramit to our team. We believe they will make an immediate impact given the depth of their respective experience, as well as their networks and relationships,” said Michael Gubbels, Partner at Whitehorse. “The deepening of our fundraising and investor relations capabilities will position us well to capture the growing opportunities in the private wealth and structured products channels.”
“Growing the Capital Management team with a multi-faceted and specialized skill set is a key component of diversifying our fundraising efforts,” said Josh Booth, Partner at Whitehorse. “We look forward to enabling access to a wider audience of investors while providing us new sources of capital; a win-win proposition.”
Joe Gallitano has more than 18 years of experience working in private wealth and institutional fundraising. Most recently he was Principal, Investor Relations with AlpInvest, responsible for the development of its private wealth products and initiatives.
Pramit Sheth has over 18 years of experience in credit ratings. He comes to Whitehorse from Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) where he was a Senior Managing Director and Global Head of its Investment Funds Group and had oversight of all new and existing ratings for the global portfolio.
With these additions, Whitehorse now has 170 employees globally across a Toronto office and a London, United Kingdom office.
