New York, NY – November 3, 2023 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced the winners of its second annual Gamechangers in ESG Awards program. The program recognizes U.S.-based companies that are embracing environmental, social, and governance principles to drive value for their stakeholders and improve business resiliency. There is also a NextGen Award for a student who demonstrates a commitment to incorporating the principles of ESG into their education and career path.

The 2023 winners are broken into two categories: ESG Business Strategies by a For-Profit Company and ESG Cause by a Not-for-Profit.

Komal Khandelwal, a master’s in finance candidate at Baruch College, CUNY is the NextGen student award winner.

This year’s winning organizations represent four different industries: not-for-profit, affordable housing, renewable energy, and technology. Each organization is driving positive change through ESG and business sustainability initiatives that include addressing the gap between food insecurity and food surplus; advancing equity through housing access; developing and operating clean energy systems; and delivering broadband services to improve critical infrastructure.

In addition to the winners, CohnReznick is recognizing additional top scoring companies as “Gamechangers to Watch.” They are:

Applications were reviewed and scored by an independent panel of judges who are leaders in ESG and sustainability.
