Moore Colson, an award-winning accounting, consulting and advisory firm in Atlanta, recently announced the addition of John Makuch as a Partner in Moore Colson’s Consulting Practice.
Makuch brings more than 30 years of experience helping companies execute financial and operational improvement initiatives, turnarounds, restructurings, and M&A transactions. At Moore Colson, he will assist clients with similar matters.
Before joining Moore Colson in 2023, Makuch was a Managing Director in Alvarez & Marsal, LLC’s North American Commercial Restructuring practice. He has extensive experience working with equity sponsors, boards of directors, creditors, attorneys, investment bankers and other constituents to maximize the value of his clients for the benefit of all parties in interest.
Makuch earned a Bachelor of Accountancy degree with honors from Villanova University, is a member of the Secured Finance Network and has passed both the Certified Turnaround Professional and Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor exams.
