The first episode was just released, featuring Tania Daniel, executive director of the International Factoring Association (IFA), discussing her inspiring journey to taking the helm of the world’s the largest association for the commercial finance and factoring sector, as well as key trends in the space and new developments within the IFA. “It means a lot to me to be able to stay in the industry that has changed my life and that I love so much and to play a part in making sure that the next generation of people feel the same way,” said Daniel.
During this initial podcast release, Daniel discusses regulatory concerns, transportation industry trends, and what lenders and factors are seeing today related to higher interest rates, the tightening of bank credit, the consolidation within the factoring space, and what all of this could mean for the factoring community. “Factoring is becoming more and more mainstream,” said Daniel, adding that “People are recognizing it in the market as a first line, cash flow, working capital tool for businesses, and they see the value.”
