Amanda Sapienza Leach joined SLR Equipment Finance as Vice President of the Risk Department. In her new role, Amanda will utilize her prior experience in credit analysis and financial services to help grow SLR Equipment Finance’s evolving financial solutions platform.
Amanda was most recently Vice President of Credit at Nexseer Capital where she primarily focused on supporting their direct originations and capital markets business channels as well as portfolio management functions. Prior to Nexseer, she served as Credit Manager at Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing Co., Ltd. underwriting middle market transactions, but also played a lead role in both the development and on-going maintenance of its vendor driven credit scoring model and operations.
“I look forward to bringing my industry and underwriting experience to SLR Equipment Finance,” Amanda said. “SLR has a proven track record and a skilled team of equipment financing professionals providing unique financing solutions. I look forward to growing SLR’s financing services and working with our partners.”

Amanda graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University, NY and obtained the prestigious Certified Leasing & Finance Professional (CLFP) designation as of December 2021.
