Lighthouse Financial Corp. is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Ellis to Senior Vice President, Account Executive. In this role Mr. Ellis will continue to manage a portfolio of asset-based loans and underwrite new transactions. In addition, Mr. Ellis will lead the efforts of Lighthouse's subsidiary Verification Management Company, which provides asset-based loan management services to financial institutions without the capacity to do so themselves.
Mr. Ellis is an industry veteran with nearly twenty years of banking and accounting experience, the last five with Lighthouse. He spent nearly six years in loan review and risk management roles with various financial institutions, most recently as Vice President with Carolina Bank. He also has more than eight years of audit and consulting experience with multiple accounting firms, both regional and national. Mr. Ellis holds a BS in Business Management with an Accounting Emphasis from Emory and Henry College.
Commenting on Mr. Ellis' promotion, Lighthouse president J. Brad Leach said "Daniel has done a wonderful job in his account management and underwriting roles. He has the the ability to build tremendous rapport with his clients while maintaining prudent lending practices and protecting the interests of Lighthouse.
