Chicago, IL, January 18, 2022 – International law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) today announced that experienced finance transactions lawyer Braden Shaw has joined the firm as a partner. Based in BCLP’s Chicago office, he joins as a member of the firm’s global Finance Transactions Practice.
Braden focuses his practice in finance transactions and general corporate matters. He advises banks, financial institutions, private equity funds and corporate borrowers in the structuring, documentation and negotiation of a broad range of finance transactions. This routinely includes leveraged, asset-based, cash flow, mezzanine and acquisition financings. He also counsels lenders and borrowers in workouts and restructurings of financially distressed companies.
“This is an exciting time to be joining BCLP” Braden said. “The Firm is well positioned for strategic growth, particularly in the private equity and leveraged financing markets. I look forward to working collaboratively with the Firm’s many talented leaders and professionals, while being an asset for the Firm’s growing and broad client base.”
Braden joins from Vedder Price, where he was a member of the Finance & Transactions Practice Group.
