New York, NY -- FocalPoint Partners, a fast-growing, Los Angeles-based, middle market investment bank, has relocated its New York office to 550 Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan to accommodate accelerated growth.
FocalPoint New York has rapidly expanded its team since opening its office only three years ago. The New York region is one of the largest hubs for middle market clients and represents an important constituency that will continue to fuel our growth. The New York office is located in the heart of New York's central business district and adjacent to Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, and many of the firm’s growing list of clients.
“We are excited to announce the relocation to our new offices, in parallel with adopting our firm’s return-to-office work model,” noted Managing Director Michael Brill, who opened the firm’s New York office in 2019. “While the current environment has demonstrated the effectiveness of remote work and virtual meetings, we believe that proximity to our clients and relationships will always be important to delivering the highest level of service. We look forward to further growing our team and our client roster from our new home.”
“We are committed to continuing to invest in the growth of our firm and have steadily expanded the brand from Los Angeles to Chicago, New York, and Shanghai,” commented Rajesh Sood, Managing Partner. “We are investing to attract the most talented people and the market’s best professionals. FocalPoint has generated tremendous firm-wide momentum over the years by delivering exceptional results to middle market clients and referral sources. Our expansion in New York speaks to our confidence in the team and our direction.”
FocalPoint Partners has added 27 banking professionals, including eight senior-level hires, in 2020 and 2021.
