Truist Bank is combining its Banking Operations and Corporate & Institutional Group (CIG) Operations and launching a global services capability to create a new center of excellence (CoE) – Enterprise Operations and Global Services – under the Digital, Client Experience, Analytics and Marketing (DCAM) organization that is led by Dontá Wilson, chief digital and client experience officer. This move will enable the bank to leverage its scale, accelerate its transformation and best position Truist to create world-class end-to-end client and teammate experiences.

As a result, the following Truist executive staffing update will be effective September 1, 2021:

Raj Bharadwaj, will be executive vice president and head of enterprise operations. He will lead the new Enterprise Operations and Global Services team, effective September 1.

Raj has been in financial services for more than 30 years in roles spanning a wide range of executive-level responsibilities including wholesale banking strategy, international COO, and enterprise efficiency.

Since joining Truist earlier this year, Raj has been very ably and successfully co-leading the enterprise-wide transformational “Building for Better” journey. Prior to Truist, Raj was executive vice president and head of enterprise services for Wells Fargo where he served as a member of the management committee, led a global team of 25,000 teammates, and was tasked with transforming and enhancing the company’s effectiveness, efficiency, client and teammate experience, and risk and control environment. Prior to Wells Fargo, Raj was a partner at AT Kearney, a global management consulting firm, where he focused on strategy and operational improvement issues in financial services. Raj received his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He received his Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Commerce degrees from University of Mumbai in India.
