PNC Bank, N.A. today announced the appointment of Kyle Myers as the regional president and head of Corporate Banking for Kansas City, effective immediately. In this role, Myers will lead the efforts to provide customers and clients in the market with access to a full range of products and capabilities through PNC’s differentiated Main Street Bank model. In addition, he will remain head of Corporate Banking and will continue to lead PNC’s local focus on developing and deepening relationships with new and existing middle market and large corporate banking clients, as well as delivering on the bank’s commitment to supporting local communities in Kansas City.
Myers will continue to build upon the momentum that PNC experienced under the leadership of Dale Klose, Southwest and Mountain territory executive for PNC’s regional president organization. Klose has relocated to Fort Worth, Texas to help lead the bank’s efforts in the region and across the Southwest, where PNC’s presence has expanded significantly following its acquisition of BBVA USA.
With more than 20 years of local banking experience, Myers most recently has served as head of Corporate Banking for PNC in the greater Kansas City region. He has been with PNC since the organization expanded into the market in 2017.
“We are proud of all Kyle has accomplished and will continue to do as head of Corporate Banking, and we are thrilled to announce him as the next regional president for PNC in Kansas City,” said Louis R. Cestello, executive vice president and head of PNC’s Regional Markets. “This is a natural next step, and Kyle’s long track record serving PNC clients, combined with his deep commitment to the region, makes him the perfect candidate to continue to move our customers and communities forward in the market.”
Myers, who started his professional career as an elementary school teacher, is a staunch advocate for early childhood education and is active in supporting a wide range of community organizations. He currently serves on the Advancement Board for the University of Kansas Medical Center, the Board of Directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Kansas City, the NAIA Champions of Character Board and he volunteers at various nonprofit groups throughout the Kansas City area.
“As a lifelong Kansas Citian, I could not be more excited to continue to build on the success we have experienced in the market since 2017,” said Myers.“There is great opportunity here for PNC, and I look forward to growing our retail presence, expanding our team with top talent and identifying opportunities to continue supporting our community right here in my hometown.”
A graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Myers earned a B.S. degree in early childhood education with a concentration in child psychology.
