CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Karen Nevins has joined the firm as Head of Strategic Growth & Marketing for its rapidly growing Transactions & Turnaround Advisory practice.
This new role comes on the heels of a period of rapid expansion for the practice, including strategic hires in key geographies. In 2020, CohnReznick’s Transactions & Turnaround Advisory also earned several prestigious awards including Top Transaction Advisory Firm (Global M&A Network), Turnaround and Transaction of the Year (Turnaround Management Association) and Out-of-Court Restructuring of the Year (Turnaround Atlas Awards).
Based in Boston, Nevins has more than 20 years of professional services and high-tech marketing, sales, and business development experience. A skilled marketing strategist, she is focused on collaborating with key stakeholders to identify business opportunities using market analysis, market segmentation, and competitive market research. In her new role with CohnReznick, she will support the four areas of Transactions & Turnaround Advisory – project finance and consulting, restructuring and dispute resolution, transaction advisory, and valuation – in addressing strategic priorities and helping clients optimize the outcomes of growth-focused initiatives.

Before joining CohnReznick, Nevins was a director of business development for a global economic consulting firm in Boston. She also served in a variety of business development and marketing roles for several major law firms.
Nevins earned an MBA from Babson College, Olin Graduate School of Business, and a BA, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts. Fluent in Spanish, she also speaks conversational French.
