CIT Appoints Geoff Black to Managing Director and Group Head for Lender Finance Business

CIT, a division of First Citizens Bank, has appointed Geoff Black to the position of managing director and group head for the Lender Finance business in its Business Capital division. Black, who was also promoted to senior vice president, will be based in Jacksonville Florida and will oversee sales, marketing and business development for all of Lender Finance.
CIT’s Lender Finance team provides captive, bank-owned and independent leasing companies with programmatic and structured capital markets solutions. The team delivers tailored debt and equity products in an efficient and client-focused manner, providing compelling funding solutions to the market.

"His vast market knowledge and creative structuring capabilities will help drive the continued growth of the business."
Black joined CIT in 2006 and in his most recent role he was responsible for originating and growing key relationships.
