William “Bill” Davis of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away January 2nd, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife Linda of 53 years; daughter Stefanie (Craig) Graham; sons Adam (Connie) and Cory Davis; grandchildren Greyson and Brooklyn Graham, Keegan and Brandon Davis; brothers Lou (Cindy) and Rob (Laura) DiRenzo.
Bill was a proud United States Air Force Veteran serving during Vietnam as Staff Sergeant, Chaplain’s Assistant and in the Honor Guard. After discharge, he used the G.I. Bill to earn his accounting degree and had a successful 39-year career in banking including senior global leadership positions at CoreStates Financial, First Union, and Wachovia Corporation where he was CEO and President of their asset-based divisions.
Although Bill thrived in finance, his passions were spending time with his family, playing and coaching hockey, rescuing dogs and being an avid musician. Bill sang and played the guitar for decades as a band member and solo artist; most recently as a member of Greytone. He will be greatly missed by his family and dogs Fiona and Sophie.
