By IDB Bank®

IDB Bank®, a New York-based private and commercial bank, announced that Ran Fuchs was named senior vice president and head of Capital Markets by IDB Capital, the broker-dealer subsidiary of IDB Bank.

Fuchs' role at IDB Capital follows years of financial and investment experience. With over a decade of experience teaming up with investors and their advisors, Fuchs has raised over $1 billion in equity capital for Equity REITs, Mortgage REITs, BDCs, REG-Ds, DST/1031s and other investments in that space where financial services and income-producing investments intersect.

At IDB Capital, Fuchs is tasked with helping curate a diversified platform of investment solutions for our corporate and individual clients while bringing to market innovative and exciting investment opportunities in partnership with Israel’s leading entrepreneurs and fund managers. Fuchs is here to help IDB become the gateway to, and the trusted destination for, access to the Israeli capital markets, further strengthening the Bank’s ability to continue attracting new deposits and lending opportunities as well as driving NIR.

Fuchs arrives from Cantor Fitzgerald, where he served as senior vice president responsible for raising equity capital for Cantor’s RIA, family office and broker-dealer-centric investment vehicles throughout the Northeastern United States. Prior to that, Fuchs raised capital through partnering with financial advisors, CPAs, attorneys and investors on alternative investments at Realty Capital Securities. He had previously managed the REIT effectiveness process with the SEC at American Realty Capital on behalf of ARC’s founding partners.

As an Israeli-American, Fuchs is extremely involved in the not-for-profit landscape in New York and across the U.S., serving as a founding member of the NY Council of the Israeli-American Council, an emeritus board member of the Council of Young Jewish Presidents and the former chairman of Dor Chadash. He also served on various task forces on behalf of the UJA. Fuchs completed his MBA at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
