SFNet’s Business Development Level 1 is an immersive curriculum that emphasizes all areas of the business development function in a collaborative setting. Participants will learn more about the skills and traits of successful originators, how to effectively identify markets, building and strengthening referral source relationships, establishing a value proposition, and being an effective champion for new opportunities.

This course is an excellent introduction into the origination process and is open to industry newcomers and veterans of all skillsets who are interested in learning more about sourcing and closing new business, using methods that are considered best practices.

This event is eligible for SFNet's Continuing Education (CEU) credits in order to maintain a Secured Finance Certified Professional (SFCP) certificate. SFCP s are expected to remain active in the industry and to complete at least 18 units of continuing education ("CEUs") for each 2-year reporting period.
