Introduction to ABL for College Interns

SFNet's Intro to ABL for Interns is a dynamic, industry-driven program designed to introduce college students and early-career professionals to the fundamentals of asset-based lending and secured finance.

This course bridges the gap between classroom learning and real-world application, giving participants a clear understanding of how capital flows through businesses and how lenders evaluate risk, structure deals, and support growth.

Participants will:

  • Understand how businesses access capital and manage working capital cycles
  • Learn key concepts like collateral, borrowing bases, and deal structures
  • Explore real-world applications across industries
  • Build confidence speaking the language of secured finance
  • Connect classroom knowledge to practical, career-relevant skills
