Sameer Sehgal

Sameer Sehgal,  prior to Traydstream had a distinguished tenure at Citi, where he spent 21 years across India, Asia, Middle East & Europe. His last stint was the MD, Regional Head of Trade, Commodity Finance, Supplier Finance and EAF for Europe, Middle East and Africa. It was period in which Citi rose to become the largest Trade bank in the region. Throughout his tenure, he has held various pivotal roles including building out the Commercial Bank at Citi in India and the subcontinent, the Trade business in the Middle East and in helping launch the Supplier Finance, Sales Finance, EAF shipping and Commodity Finance businesses for the Bank. During his stint he also had oversight of Distribution for Trade worldwide. Sameer worked at Bank of America and Anz Grindlays Bank in India as well.  

  

Sameer, is an alum from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT – Kharagpur) , Faculty of Management Studies Delhi and the Wharton School, Pennsylvania. He is a vociferous reader and outside work, is a keen sports follower. Sameer lives in London with his wife and three children.
