Laurence Guguen

Managing Director, Head of Global Trade Solutions Structuring & Portfolio, BNP Paribas

Laurence Guguen is a seasoned structured finance executive with more than 20 years of experience in debt origination, structuring, and underwriting. Throughout her career, Laurence has successfully navigated transitions across geographies, institutions, and senior roles—from Paris to New York, from large global banks to boutique firms, including a start-up experience, and from banking to insurance, holding positions from deal maker to risk leader. As Managing Director at BNP Paribas, Laurence currently leads the structuring team for Global Trade and Working Capital Solutions in the Americas, consistently applying an adaptive mindset to leading teams and managing complex environments.

Laurence holds master’s degrees from EDHEC Business School and Paris-Dauphine University and is an alumni of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program. She is a Certified ESG Analyst and an active community leader—serving as Managing Director at the Harvard Business School Club of NY’s Community Partners and as a Board Member at Taste of Tribeca.
