Ken Yager is the Founder and President of Newpoint Advisors Corporation and has over 35 years of executive experience in the turnaround management field. Ken is a nationally recognized name for helping small distressed businesses, and his team works nationwide, striving to be the person in the corner for small distressed companies.▪Ken founded Newpoint in 2013 after a personal experience in a failed entrepreneurial venture. When he searched for solutions tailored to small distressed businesses and didn’t find any, he decided there had to be a better way. Determined to help other companies by being the help he needed, he has worked with similar clients in various industries in over 300 engagements.▪Ken regularly takes on profit and loss and risk-management responsibility for cash-constrained companies in growth, leveraged-buyout, and turnaround situations. He also has successfully worked on implementing hundreds of initiatives involving operations and project management, team building, marketing, and sales and joint-venture management. He is a fierce advocate for capital preservation and saving jobs.▪He is also the innovator of Newpoint’s proprietary Turnaround Action Matrix Evaluation (TAME) , the only scientific methodology that provides a structured framework to help businesses identify and address distress and failure.▪Ken is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO), Chapter 11 Trustee, Federal Receiver, State Receiver and an Assignee for Benefit of Creditors professional.▪He sits on multiple Turnaround Management Association Global committees, such as The Education Oversight Committee and has been on the Nominations Committee.
