David Grende is the Managing Member of Autumn Ridge Advisory, LLC, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to helping regional banks, community banks, and private credit funds navigate the strategy, approvals, and startup process for launching asset-based lending (ABL) platforms. With over 40 years of industry experience, David brings a unique blend of operational, strategic, and leadership expertise to institutions looking to enter or expand within the secured finance space.

Prior to founding Autumn Ridge Advisory in 2025, David served as President and CEO of Siena Lending Group, which he led from inception in 2012 until his retirement in early 2025. Under his leadership, Siena became a premier provider of creative, flexible asset-based financing solutions for middle-market companies, growing into one of the industry’s most respected ABL lenders.

Previously, David was President & CEO of Burdale Capital Finance, where he built a highly successful ABL platform from the ground up—exceeding profitability targets and establishing a strong brand in a short period. He also held senior leadership roles at Huron Consulting Group, where he advised on high-profile restructurings including Delta Airlines and Global Crossing, and at CIT Group, where he served as EVP and COO of Credit Finance, significantly growing returns and profitability during his tenure.

David is a past President of the Secured Finance Network (SFNet) and remains an active voice in shaping the future of the industry. His passion for building strong, sustainable lending businesses continues to guide his work with clients today.
