SFNet's live online Leadership Essentials Courses are designed for secured finance professionals who want focused, concentrated learning. Each 2- to 4-hour course delivers time-tested techniques you can apply the moment you log off. Led by Ann M. Butera, CRP, President of The Whole Person Project, Inc., these practical sessions offer high-impact training at an accessible $295 per course. These courses can be applied toward our Secured Finance Certified Professionals (SFCP) program.

Description
This 4‐hour session will enable participants to:
- Differentiate stalls (delays) from objections (real obstacles)
- Overcome objections at any point during an audit, pre‐implementation review or project Use listening and restatement to identify and overcome the source of objections.
- Describe various conflict management styles and choose the most appropriate one for their situation Effectively deal with confrontations, pushback, and objections.
To optimize in‐session time, participants will be asked to complete the Thomas‐Kilmann Conflict Management self‐assessment and bring the results with them to class. The assessment requires 15 minutes or less to complete. At the end of the session, participants will identify takeaways and ways to measure progress in applying the techniques.

This event is eligible for SFNet's Continuing Education (CEU) credits in order to maintain a Secured Finance Certified Professional (SFCP) certificate. SFCPs must remain active in the industry and complete at least 18 units of continuing education ("CEUs") for each 2-year reporting period.
