Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory today announced that Whitney Mikell has joined its Real Estate, Gaming, Lodging & Leisure (REGLL) Investment Banking team as a Managing Director. Mikell will lead the bank's hotel and non-gaming lodging coverage efforts while also supporting its broader real estate practice.
Based in New York, Mikell joins Citizens from UBS, where he spent 15 years advising clients on real estate investment banking and capital markets transactions. He will work alongside senior members of the bank's REGLL team, including Ryan Abbe, Brady Stern, Chris Lynch and Josh Maio. Mikell will report to Jason Miller, head of Diversified Industries at Citizens.
"Whitney is a highly respected real estate banker with deep experience advising institutional clients focused on real estate and lodging," Miller said. "His sector expertise, longstanding industry relationships and capital markets experience will further strengthen our ability to deliver strategic advice and financing solutions to clients across the real estate sector."
