Polsinelli is pleased to announce that Sean R. Crain has joined the firm as a shareholder in its Commercial Litigation Practice in Dallas. His arrival continues the firm’s expansion of the practice following the recent addition of Shareholder Joseph (Joe) R. Delehanty in Chicago.
Crain represents companies in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts across the country, focusing on high-stakes disputes in the commercial real estate, financial institutions, food and beverage and health care industries. He routinely litigates matters involving contentious separations among corporate stakeholders, claims for unfair competition and breach of fiduciary duty and post-acquisition disputes sounding in contract and tort. Crain is equally well-versed in defending putative class actions through dispositive motion practice and avoiding class certification.
“Sean brings a strong track record handling complex commercial disputes and class actions for clients in highly regulated and consumer-facing industries,” said Noel Cohen, Chair of Polsinelli’s Commercial Litigation Practice. “His experience adds meaningful depth to our team as we continue expanding our capabilities in key markets.”
“I am ecstatic to join Polsinelli and contribute to the expansion of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice in Dallas,” Crain said. “I am encouraged by the firm’s intentional and strategic approach towards lateral growth – both in Dallas and elsewhere across the country – while protecting a collaborative culture that fosters preeminent client service. I look forward to working with such a talented team of attorneys in Dallas and further expanding significant client relationships in this critical market. I am also thrilled to be reunited with several former colleagues across the firm whose character I deeply respect and admire, above all.”
Crain earned his J.D. from Tulane University and his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Polsinelli’s Commercial Litigation Practice is consistently chosen by clients for its practical, industry-specific business litigation and complex commercial litigation strategies informed by substantive and procedural knowledge, real courtroom experience and a keen awareness of how legal outcomes impact clients’ bottom lines.
