NEW YORK (April 27, 2026) – Holland & Knight has bolstered its national Financial Services Section with the addition of experienced finance partners Kevin Eisenberg and Jeffrey Fried in New York. Both join the Specialty Finance and Regulatory Practice Group, and were previously partners with Loeb & Loeb.
Their additions to the Financial Services Section follow that of partner Adam Jachimowski, who joined Holland & Knight's New York office in February.
“We are pleased to welcome Kevin and Jeff to the Firm. Their arrival advances our long-standing goal of expanding our general lending capabilities in New York and strengthens our core corporate finance work across the country,” said Cindy Brazell, leader of Holland & Knight’s Financial Services Section. “Kevin and Jeff bring the experience, connections and client focus that define our practice, and we are excited to have them join our team.”
Mr. Eisenberg’s practice focuses on representing private bank clients in debt financings for ultra-high net worth individuals, particularly in transactions secured by a range of collateral, including diversified marketable securities, concentrated public stock holdings, private and pre-IPO stock, private equity and hedge fund investments, aircraft and art collections. His experience also includes commercial transactions, representing a wide array of national senior lenders, second lien lenders, mezzanine debt funds, private equity funds and private equity sponsor groups in debt financings and refinancings and recapitalization and restructuring transactions. Mr. Eisenberg received a J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. degree from Binghamton University, State University of New York. He is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey.
“I am excited to join Holland & Knight and to help expand the Firm’s lending capabilities in New York,” said Mr. Eisenberg. “The Firm’s national platform and collaborative culture provide an outstanding foundation for supporting clients on their most complex financing matters. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the finance practice and to working with my new colleagues across the country.”
Mr. Fried is highly experienced in the representation of banks and other financial institutions in the financing and restructuring of permanent, construction, mezzanine and leasehold loans, including agented and syndicated loan facilities. He regularly represents lenders in connection with real estate financings covering a variety of asset classes in New York and throughout the U.S. Mr. Fried received a J.D. degree from Brooklyn Law School and a B.A. degree from Binghamton University, State University of New York.
“Holland & Knight is a well-known player in the finance and real estate industries in New York and I’m proud to be joining such an esteemed group of lawyers,” said Mr. Fried. “Much of my work has centered on complex real estate finance transactions, and the Firm’s national platform offers an excellent opportunity to continue supporting lenders on significant projects across the country.”
