Citizens Hires Peter Ulmer as Managing Director in Transitional Finance

Citizens today announced that Peter Ulmer will join the bank’s Transitional Finance team as a Managing Director. He will report to Brent Hazzard, head of the Transitional Finance and ABL Group. 

A 20-year Wells Fargo veteran, Ulmer has extensive experience serving as a trusted strategic and financial partner to corporate clients throughout their business life cycle.

“The Transitional Finance team has been working very closely with our clients to help them navigate the challenges presented by the pandemic,” said Hazzard. “I want to welcome Peter to the team and am confident that he will be able to add tremendous value to our clients as we continue to expand our business.”

The Transitional Finance and Asset-Based Loan (ABL) Group provides highly structured financings tailored to each client’s specific objectives, including loans based on the value of a client’s assets as well as its cash flow, which can be attractive to companies with volatile earnings, seasonality, cyclicality or generally thin margins.

Ulmer graduated from Emory University and is based in New York.
