Gibraltar welcomes Robin Oertel to the GBC family as a Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer, based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Robin will be using her 20-plus years of experience to originate and execute new asset-based lending relationships in the Upper Midwest region (IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, ND, SD, NE, KS). Her experience in business development, relationship management and field examinations provides a solid platform for delivering solutions that meet or exceed clients’ and financial sponsors’ goals.
She developed this expertise working with both regulated and non-regulated institutions. Robin joins Gibraltar following 17 years as a Business Development Officer at Wells Fargo Capital Finance. Before that, she spent 7 years as a collateral manager and then portfolio manager for Guaranty Business Credit.
Robin is originally from northern Michigan, so she is returning to her Midwest roots with the move to Gibraltar. She graduated from Ferris State University and today is an active member of the Turnaround Management Association and Association for Corporate Growth.
“We are thrilled to add Robin to our dedicated team of ABL experts,” comments Gibraltar EVP and Head of Sales, Anthony DiChiara. “We have no doubt she will be an integral contributor to the growth of Gibraltar, bringing her lending knowledge and dedication to service to our Upper Midwest market.”
Gibraltar offers credit facility capacity between $2 million and $20 million to serve mid-market businesses and their unique needs. Its customized financing solutions are helping private equity sponsors and clients overcome short-term capital challenges, navigate complex transitions, and take advantage of growth opportunities.
