Rick Malagodi joins Winter Harbor as a senior director, bringing over 30-years of restructuring, turnaround, and interim executive management experience to their team.  Rick is a seasoned professional, having directed transactional processes including the raising of capital, guiding entities in out-of-court and court-supervised restructurings, and overseeing secured and unsecured debtor-side advising, liquidations, and M&A negotiations.  He has served in senior operating and leadership roles including CRO, CEO, and CFO, while developing and executing reorganization plans and reporting to boards of directors and loan committees.

His most recent business endeavor was establishing a private consulting practice focused on turnarounds and forming high-value opportunities for small to mid-size businesses.  Rick partnered with clients across the United States from Boston to San Diego, providing strategy, operational, financial, restructuring, and workout services.  In addition to establishing a tech start-up, his professional experience also includes leading a packaged goods company as CRO, and then CEO, where he led an effective turnaround and M&A effort, resulting in the successful sale of the company.

“Rick brings a unique skillset and an understanding of the evolving needs of our clients.  By adding Rick as a senior member of our consulting team, this will allow us to provide our clients with more strategic and sustainable solutions,” said Shaun Martin, managing partner and founder.  “We are eager to leverage his depth and breadth of knowledge to strengthen the restructuring support we deliver our clients.”
