Mentoring Program Fall 2026
September 15 to December 1, 2026
The SFNet Reverse Mentoring Program inverts the traditional mentoring model by pairing 10 young professionals as mentors to 10 senior executives. The 11-week program, running September 15 through December 1, provides executives with insights into technology, generational values, inclusion, branding, and workplace culture, while empowering young professionals through leadership exposure and confidence-building opportunities.

Program Schedule
- September 15: Kickoff
- September 29: The future of work
- October 13: Technology trends
- October 27: Communication across generations
- November 17: Leadership styles
- December 1: Closing session
Pairing Process
- Accepted applicants receive confirmation and access to the private LinkedIn group.
- Mentors post a 200-word blurb outlining what inspired them to become a mentor.
- Mentees post a 200-word blurb on their career or personal goals and how they hope to benefit from the mentoring relationship.
- Mentees select three mentors to meet during the the mandatory Speed Networking event.
- One-on-one mentor-mentee matches made following the event and remain in place for the duration on the program.
