Join the SFNet Midwest Inclusiveness Committee on Thursday, September 17, for a hands-on volunteer outing at Nourishing Hope, one of the largest and longest-operating hunger relief organizations in Chicago.
8:30-9:30 AM: Check-in and enjoy a light breakfast with the group.
9:30 – 12:30 PM: Help prepare food boxes for clients and pack orders for Nourishing Hope’s Online Market, as well as other miscellaneous warehouse tasks.
This opportunity has limited space so sign up soon! There is no cost to participate, but please let us know you are attending by using the blue RSVP button. All volunteers need to be registered with Nourishing Hope in advance.
Nourishing Hope provides the equivalent of more than 4.5 million meals each year. Their mission: Nourishing Hope through food, mental health and social services so that all of our neighbors can thrive.
