Description

The world of lending has literally changed overnight. There have been changes on how we manage our portfolios, how much relevance there is in historical performance with regard to collateral and operations, how ABL deals will be structured, and how we will go to market and qualify new business opportunities. This roundtable discussion will address portfolio management and business development as the economy begins to open up and we look to generate business in what we hope is a post Covid-19 environment.

Discussion questions will include:
  • What have you done to change portfolio management?
  • How do you plan to go out to market?
  • Will accommodations become long term credit trends/decision?
  • Qualify prospects–historical trends and projections–how are you trying to use them?
  • What do ineligbles and advance rates look like (geo and industry)–the good, bad, and the ugly?

    Moderators:
Ken Yager, President, Newpoint Advisors Corporation
Tony Cortese, SVP, Peoples United Bank

    Speakers:

    Terry Keating, President, Accord Financial
Matt Modlish, SVP, Peoples United Bank
David J. Viggiano, Business Leader, ABL, Sterling National Bank
