Dominic Courtman will join as Managing Director and Head of Pemberton’s Collateralised Loan Obligation (‘CLO’) Group

Since inception, Pemberton’s CLO business has grown to €1.6 billion in AUM

LONDON 29 September 2026, Pemberton Asset Management (“Pemberton”), one of Europe’s leading private credit managers, has hired Dominic Courtman as Managing Director and Head of its Collateralised Loan Obligation (‘CLO’) Group.

Dominic’s appointment builds on the strong momentum of Pemberton’s CLO business and will support its continued growth. He brings more than 30 years of experience across leveraged credit, portfolio management and corporate finance. Most recently, Dominic was Managing Director, Deputy CIO and Senior Portfolio Manager at Investcorp, where he was responsible for the portfolio management of the firm’s European CLOs and closed-ended credit funds.

Since its inception, Pemberton’s CLO business has grown to €1.6 billion in AUM, with further new issues planned under its Indigo Series. In 2025, the platform issued two new CLOs under its Indigo series (Indigo III and Indigo IV) and successfully repriced Indigo I.

After nearly five years with Pemberton, Rob Reynolds has decided to step back from his role as Head of CLOs to spend more time with his family and pursue some of his other interests, including his writing.

Ben Gulliver, Head of Portfolio Management & Co-Head of Direct Lending, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dominic to lead Pemberton’s growing CLO platform. Dominic brings a wealth of experience from over 30 years in the industry and will be instrumental progressing the expansion of the platform.

I would like to thank Rob for his contribution to Pemberton over the past five years. During his time with Pemberton, Rob has overseen the establishment and development of the Pemberton Indigo CLO platform and has contributed more broadly to the firm.”

Dominic Courtman, incoming Managing Director and Head of Collateralised Loan Obligation Group said: “I am delighted to be joining Pemberton at an exciting stage in the ongoing development of its CLO group platform. The strength of the team and the building momentum behind the Indigo series provide an excellent foundation for continued growth. I look forward to working with the wider team to build on the platform’s success.”

Rob Reynolds said: “I have greatly enjoyed the challenge of establishing the Indigo platform and am very grateful for the support I have received from Ben and the team at Pemberton. I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family and getting my first book published.”

Pemberton’s CLO strategy focuses on the active management of liquid, broadly syndicated European leveraged loan portfolios, supported by a robust investment framework combining fundamental credit analysis, structured portfolio construction and ongoing risk monitoring. The Indigo platform is a core pillar of the firm’s multi-strategy private credit offering.

Dominic Courtman will begin his role at Pemberton in January 2027. In the interim, Jay Daryanani, Managing Director and Deputy Head of CLOs, will lead the CLO team. This arrangement will ensure continuity across the team’s investment activities and the ongoing management of the CLO platform. -ENDS-
