The Boston-based platform gives banks and private credit funds continuous, fully traceable visibility into their portfolios, replacing the email, PDF and spreadsheet workflows that monitoring still runs on.
BOSTON, Mass. (September 21, 2026) Collateral Oversight & Risk Analytics ("CORA"), a portfolio monitoring platform for banks and private credit funds, today announced that it has closed its Seed funding round. The proceeds will accelerate development in the areas its partners have prioritized: document processing, early warning analytics, expanded automation, and compliance infrastructure built for regulated financial institutions.
CORA was founded on a straightforward observation. Credit monitoring practices have not evolved as quickly as credit origination methods. A lending facility is underwritten once, but it must be monitored for its entire life. Borrower financial statements, compliance certificates, covenant assessments, borrowing bases, amendments, waivers and reporting materials circulate again and again, typically through email, PDFs and decades-old spreadsheets. For lenders, that is both an operational drag and a risk management problem.
CORA serves as portfolio monitoring infrastructure. The platform intakes borrower submissions, analyzes financial data, verifies borrowing base certificates line by line against supporting documentation, evaluates eligibility, concentration limits and covenant compliance, and surfaces early warning indicators. Every figure traces back to its source document, and every action is captured in a complete audit log. AI does the heavy reading; the lender's team makes every call.
"The way lenders monitor credit has not kept pace with the way they originate it," said Alex Christie, Co-Founder of CORA. "Technology is moving forward quickly, while monitoring still runs on email, PDFs and spreadsheets. Finalizing our recent funding round lets us provide the platform that moves lenders from point-in-time review to real-time oversight, with the traceability and audit history regulated institutions require."
CORA is deploying with partners across bank and nonbank lending, and the company's roadmap is set in partnership with them. To learn more about CORA or to request a demonstration, please contact info@coraabl.com.
