NEW YORK — August 4, 2026 — JPalmer Collective (JPC), a leading customized asset-based lending (ABL) solutions provider for high-growth consumer brands, today announced the appointment of Chris Mayo as Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management.
Mayo brings significant commercial banking and asset-based lending experience to the role, including underwriting, structuring, and managing complex middle-market and corporate credit facilities. He has built his career across some of the industry’s most recognized banks, including Citibank N.A., Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and TD Bank.
“Chris has spent nearly two decades underwriting and managing a broad range of middle-market and corporate credit facilities,” said Jennifer Palmer, founder and CEO of JPalmer Collective. “His depth of credit expertise, combined with a thoughtful, relationship-driven approach, makes him the ideal leader to oversee our growing portfolio. We’re excited to welcome him to the team.”
Disciplined Credit Risk and Portfolio Oversight
In his role as SVP, Portfolio Management, Mayo will oversee credit risk, portfolio performance, and collateral monitoring across JPC’s lending book.
Prior to joining JPalmer Collective, Mayo managed a portfolio of middle-market and large corporate asset-based lending relationships at Citibank N.A. Earlier, as Vice President, Middle Market Commercial Portfolio Manager at TD Bank, he managed an $800 million portfolio. Mayo began his career in asset-based lending at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, progressing from Collateral Analyst to Account Executive and ultimately Underwriter over the course of nine years.
“I’ve spent my career on the underwriting and credit side of asset-based lending, helping clients navigate growth, acquisitions, and turnarounds while keeping risk management front and center,” said Mayo. “I’m impressed with JPalmer Collective’s client-first approach to ABL, and I’m looking forward to bringing my skills to the firm’s portfolio.”
Mayo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Hofstra University’s Frank G. Zarb School of Business.
