Polsinelli is pleased to announce that Jonathan D. Salm has joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as a shareholder in its Health Care Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. His addition reflects the continued growth of the firm’s Corporate & Transactional Practices from coast to coast, following the recent arrivals of Jonathan K. Kitchen and Daniel E. Cohen in New York, and the continued deepening of its health care bench.
“Jonathan’s depth of experience in health care transactions and his practical approach to regulatory challenges make him an outstanding addition to our team,” said Andrew J. Voss, Health Care M&A Co-Chair. “He leads sophisticated transactions across multiple subsectors of the industry and will further strengthen our ability to serve health clients nationwide.”
Salm advises health care clients on mergers, platform and add-on acquisitions, strategic joint ventures and day-to-day operational needs. He represents buyers and sellers in transactions involving primary care, pediatric, nonprofit, nursing home, orthopedic, ophthalmology and other medical groups. His work includes leading transaction execution, conducting due diligence and advising on regulatory considerations that arise in health care deals and post-closing operations.
In addition, Salm helps both buy-side and sell-side clients navigate regulatory challenges to achieve successful deal outcomes.
Salm added: “Polsinelli’s nationally recognized and growing health care practice made the firm a natural fit. I was drawn to the strength of the team and its collaborative, forward-looking culture, and I look forward to helping drive the continued growth and expansion of the firm’s health care platform.”
Salm earned his J.D. and M.B.A. from Hofstra University and his B.S. from the University of Michigan.
