BHI Appoints William C. Komaroff as General Counsel

NEW YORK, November 3, 2025 – BHI, the U.S operation of Bank Hapoalim, B.M. and a full-service commercial bank, today announced the appointment of William C. Komaroff as General Counsel. Mr. Komaroff will report directly to Gil Karni, Chief Executive Officer, and join the BHI Executive Team.
Mr. Komaroff, “Bill”, joins BHI from Proskauer Rose LLP, where he has been since October 2007, serving as a partner in the Litigation Department. Prior to Proskauer, Mr. Komaroff was as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York (2003–2007). Earlier in his career he operated as a litigation associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell (1995–2003) and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jerome Farris of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (1994–1995).

William C. Komaroff holds a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School (Order of the Coif; Michigan Law Review) and a B.A. in Government, magna cum laude, from Dartmouth College. He is admitted to the New York bar and is admitted to several federal courts, including the S.D.N.Y. and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Third and Ninth Circuits.
