Assembled Brands Capital announces the appointment of Kunal Kohli as Managing Director, Head of Revenue. In this role, Kunal will lead the firm’s revenue strategy, business development, and expansion of its asset-based lending portfolio, with a focus on client engagement, pipeline management, and optimizing lending practices to support sustainable advancement.
Kunal brings over 15 years of expertise in revenue growth, business development, strategy, and leadership across CPG and B2B SaaS. He co-founded & served as CEO for BOU, a better-for-you bouillon and soup company, that sold into several major retailers including Whole Foods, Target, and Walmart.
He has held several other senior roles including VP of Business Development, VP of CS & Partnerships, and, most recently as Head of Customer Success & Partnerships at Ampla, where he developed client-centric revenue & growth strategies. He was key in driving and managing their loan book from $50 Million to over $300 Million in less than two years. Kunal has an immense passion for the CPG space and is always looking for ways to help founders & operators achieve efficient growth and success.
