"We are pleased to welcome Dan as a Principal of the firm and we are very proud of his commitment to our clients and the firm's values," said Maria McGuire, Co-Chair of the firm's Commercial Finance Group and a member of the Management Committee.

Dan joined Goldberg Kohn in May 2016. He represents banks, commercial finance companies, direct lenders, private credit investors and other institutional lenders in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing a wide range of lending transactions, including acquisition financings, recapitalization financings, refinancings, working capital facilities and other complex financial arrangements requiring institutional debt.

Some examples from his recent matters include a $700 million widely syndicated first lien cash-flow credit facility to a large engineering consultancy company, a $400 million senior secured working capital credit facility to a large international manufacturer across four foreign jurisdictions, the restructuring of over $600 million in term loans to a supplier and manufacturer of pet products as counsel to the $90 million senior secured working capital credit facility agent, and a $110 million initial senior secured cash flow credit facility extended to an employee management software company with $10 million in follow-on credit extensions to support multiple add-on acquisitions.

Also among his accolades, Dan has been recognized in "The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch" in the area of Banking and Finance Law.

He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2015 and his B.A., summa cum laude, from Hope College in 2010.
