Diane Gipstein graduated Magna Cum Laude from Harvard College in 2001 with an A.B. in physics and astronomy and astrophysics and then graduated from Columbia Law School in 2004 with a J.D.  Ms. Gipstein worked as an associate attorney in the tax department of Simpson, Thacher, and Bartlett LLP until 2008, at which time she moved into transactional real estate with a primary focus in the New York City metropolitan area and then founded Gipstein Law PLLC in 2020.  She sits on the Board of Governors of the Harvard-Radcliffe Club of Westchester and currently resides in Westchester New York with her husband and three kids.
