SLR Credit Solutions Announces New Hires and Promotions

Tanner Phifer joined as managing director, business development, responsible for sourcing, originating, and structuring new loans in the West and Southwest regions. Phifer previously worked at Wells Fargo Capital Finance and Wells Fargo Corporate Banking and has a BBA in finance from the University of Houston.

Michael Stavrakos has joined as a director, underwriting and portfolio management. Stavrakos joined from Wells Fargo Capital Finance and has an M.S. in finance from Bentley University and a B.S. in economics and finance, also from Bentley University

Carter Buff joined as a senior associate, underwriting and portfolio management. Buff previously worked at Raytheon Technologies and Bridge Bank Capital Finance and has a B.S. in finance and an MBA from Providence College.

George Vartanov was promoted to director, underwriting and portfolio management.  He joined in 2020 and previously worked at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Technology Finance and NewStar Financial. Vartanov has a B.S. in finance and accounting from Bentley University.

Jack Murphy was promoted to vice president, underwriting and portfolio management. He joined the team in 2022 and has previously worked at Santander Bank, NA and Wells Fargo Capital Finance, Healthcare Finance. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in finance and marketing.

Meghan McDermott was promoted to accounting manager. She joined the team in 2013 and has a B.S. in accounting from Boston College.
