CFS Regulatory Lawyer Brian Turetsky Joins Ballard Spahr in New York

NEW YORK (April 25, 2022) – Brian A. Turetsky—a regulatory and compliance attorney with two decades of experience counseling financial services companies—has joined Ballard Spahr’s Consumer Financial Services Group, firm Chair Mark Stewart announced today.
Mr. Turetsky is Of Counsel in the Business and Transactions Department and is resident in the firm’s New York office. His regulatory experience includes advising clients on an array of financial services products and business lines, including business and commercial banking, credit card and payment services, mortgage origination and servicing, and retail banking. He has handled matters before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and state attorneys general.
Mr. Turetsky’s arrival follows that of Lisa M. Lanham, Rinaldo Martinez, Michael Gordon, and Michael Guerrero, who joined the Consumer Financial Services Group within the last month. Ballard Spahr’s Consumer Financial Services Group is nationally top-ranked for its work with regulatory matters, product design and documentation, and in litigation and regulatory enforcement. It is home to more than 75 lawyers across the country.
