Express Trade Capital recently added some kick to their portfolio and put pep in their client’s steps with a $2.5M accounts receivables facility for a well-seasoned Nevada based organic spice importer in business since 2010.  The client’s primary business is importing organic spices, herbs, and botanicals like cardamom, ginger, turmeric, and saffron.

This company is another example of a business lifted by the erratic waves of the pandemic. In the second half of 2020, they savored a 600% increase in demand from wholesalers across America.  Though it’s a steamy pile of cliché to write in factoring deal announcements, the client’s increased demand put heavy strain on the business’s working capital.  As in every finance hero’s journey, Express slaid the unsustainable beast of cashflow gaps with the shimmering blade of an AR facility.  The increased cashflow from faster payments opened the client’s production bottleneck, preserved their increased sales, and let the growth genie out of the spice jar.

All in all, it was another bold adventure in Express’ 1,001 tales of high finance in the spice trade.
