Lang Joins CohnReznick as Managing Director, Valuation Advisory

New York, NY – 9/30/2022 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Shlomo Lang has joined the firm as Managing Director in its Valuation Advisory Services practice. Based in New York, Lang has more than 22 years of experience providing a broad range of valuation and financial advisory services to public and private enterprises worldwide.

Lang’s extensive experience in complex valuation matters encompasses a diverse range of industries. He assists clients with valuations of businesses and business interests, intangible assets, and liabilities for various purposes, including financial reporting, tax planning and compliance, transactions, restructuring, dispute resolution, and other corporate and litigation related matters.

Over the course of his career, Lang held various financial consulting and valuation roles with top tier U.S. accounting firms and leading financial advisory firms. He also acted as Chief Financial Officer of a global animation company. Early in his career, Lang served in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Lang earned both a BA in Economics and an MA in Economics & Business Administration from Tel Aviv University, Israel. He also holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Fordham University. Lang is Certified in Entity and Intangible Valuations (CEIV); Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV); and an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA).  Lang currently serves on the Financial Reporting Executive Committee (FinREC) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
